Privacy Policy

Corsa Werks (“we,” “us”) makes documentary films about racing and runs this website, including accounts and memberships. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and we don't sell your data.

Information we collect

• Account. When you create an account we store your email address and a unique account ID. We use passwordless sign-in links, so we never store a password.
• Membership & payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details, only a Stripe customer/subscription ID, your membership tier, and its status, so we can grant the right access.
• Store orders. When you buy physical merchandise we collect the delivery details you enter at checkout: your name, shipping address, email address, and any phone number you provide. Checkout is hosted by Shopify, which processes the order and the payment. We do not receive or store your card details. Delivery carriers receive the name and address needed to deliver the parcel.
• Messages you send us. If you use the member chat, we store the messages you write and any photos you attach, so the conversation is there when you come back and so we can answer you. Photos are re-encoded on upload, which removes embedded metadata such as camera GPS location before anything is stored. Messages and photos are visible only to you and to Corsa Werks staff, are never used for advertising, and are deleted with your account.
• Usage & analytics. We use privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) and Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, pages viewed, general location, device type. Google Analytics runs only after you accept analytics cookies.
• Email. If you receive email from us (for example press releases), our email provider (Resend) records deliveries, bounces, and spam complaints so we can manage our list and honor unsubscribes.
• Press contacts. If you are on our press list, we store your name, your outlet, your email address, and the subjects you cover so we can send you press releases, and we keep a record of each release sent to you and whether it was delivered.

How we use your information

• To provide your account and membership, and grant access to member content.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions (via Stripe).
• To send transactional email you've asked for, and to operate and improve the site.
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.

Service providers

We share data only with the vendors that run our platform, under their own privacy terms: Supabase (accounts & database), Stripe (membership payments), Shopify (merchandise orders, checkout, and payment for physical goods), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting & analytics), Cloudflare (the bot check on the sign-in form), and Google Analytics. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, and analytics cookies to measure traffic. Analytics stays off until you accept it, and you can change your choice anytime from the Cookie Preferences link in the footer. For the full list, see our Cookie Policy.

Retention & deletion

We keep account data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your account page. This permanently removes your profile, cancels any active membership, and deletes your associated records. Some limited records (for example payment records held by Stripe) may be retained where required by law.

Order records are kept for as long as we need them for tax, accounting, and returns, which is longer than the life of your account. Deleting your Corsa Werks account does not erase a completed order, because we are required to keep those records.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly from your account, or by contacting us.

Children

The site and memberships are intended for adults; we don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We'll update this page if our practices change, and revise the date above.
